Blind Owl Records is proud to release Song About Songs — the first solo album from Zander Schloss (The Circle Jerks, The Weirdos, Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros). Known for his explosive punk energy, Schloss reinvents himself here with an introspective, analog-recorded masterpiece that’s both haunting and heartfelt.

Recorded live to tape at Sargent Recorders with Gus Seyffert (Beck, Norah Jones, The Black Keys), the record pairs stripped-down arrangements with emotional precision. With contributions from Jake Blanton, Josh Adams, and Bedouine, Song About Songs moves from stark folk ballads to cinematic textures — all captured in analog warmth.

This CD edition is part of Blind Owl Records’ 100% Certified Analog Collection, preserving every nuance of the master tape’s character and authenticity.
