Blind Owl Records proudly presents Song About Songs, the debut solo album from Zander Schloss — legendary bassist of The Circle Jerks and collaborator with Joe Strummer of The Clash. Known for his decades in punk rock, Schloss opens a new chapter with this vulnerable and masterfully arranged analog recording — a polar opposite version of punk rock, exploring space, intimacy, and raw emotion.

Recorded all-analog to tape at Sargent Recorders in Los Angeles with producer Gus Seyffert (Beck, Roger Waters, Norah Jones, The Black Keys), the album captures a warmth and honesty that can only come from live analog tracking. Featuring performances by Jake Blanton (Brandon Flowers, The Killers), Josh Adams, and a guest vocal from rising artist Bedouine, the album unfolds like a timeless folk-tinged confession.

Part of the Blind Owl Records 100% Certified Analog Collection, Song About Songs was pressed to vinyl by Pirates Press and mastered by Ed Brooks at Resonant Mastering.
